Melissa Anne Aguas is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been working in the healthcare field since 2005. She has assumed care in the areas of Pediatric & Adult Urgent Care, Pain Management & Rehabilitation, Intensive Care, and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/DOU.
She is investigating new ways to help current and future patients of all ages as well as become a mentor to nursing students working towards a BSN or MSN degree. Her passion lies in helping people live healthier, more productive lives. Ultimately, she plans to travel to underserved areas of the world to provide healthcare access to those in need.
Melissa Anne Aguas graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of California at Irvine. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Lakeview College of Nursing in IL. In May of 2013, she graduated at Holy Names University in Oakland hills, CA with her MSN Family Nurse Practitioner degree. And most recently, she passed her FNP National Board Certification exam in September 2013.
